The Squaw Valley National Ski Patrol is a non-profit organization of approximately 95 unpaid volunteers who are trained in first aid, outdoor emergency care, CPR, and winter rescue. We are part of the National Ski Patrol System, an international organization that includes almost 27,000 patrollers.

We combine our first aid and skiing skills to serve the ski area and the skiing public at Squaw Valley USA at Lake Tahoe. While on duty at Squaw Valley, we patrol as agents of the resort and work under the direction of the Squaw Valley Ski Patrol Department.

We are excited to announce that the Squaw Valley Ski Patrol was awarded the National Outstanding Large Alpine Patrol Award for the 2009-2010 season.  Click here to read more.
